Why the name “The Two Sweet”?

For Kay’s horse Cocoa, and Ross’ donkey Candy, who were the nucleus of a lifestyle change and who have provided countless hours of entertainment, challenges, and peaceful reflection. They will forever be the stars and matriarchs of The Two Sweet, wherever it may be!

In the year 2000, the foursome came together in Conifer, where the Kellers purchased horse property near climbing crags. Kay had been a passionate equestrian since forever, but had not owned a horse while the family moved about the country pursuing careers and family activities. Cocoa arrived soon after moving to Conifer. Ross the rock climber didn’t intend to be equine involved. But! Cocoa needed an equine companion, and Candy had her own ideas…

Waiting for her arrival, Ross held a contest called “Name my Ass.” The usual suspects were suggested but Ross chose “Candy” because kids would be charmed, adults amused, and it was his idea! Ross and Candy bonded instantaneously, and the Keller’s equine life has been expanding every since.

Now relocated to Parker, who knew a queenly mare and a princess donkey would take Ross and Kay on a journey not foreseen, but on which they love the ride!
